About the player
Sergej Savic came through Admira Wacker's academy after arriving from SC Günselsdorf in January 2015, and by his early teens he was already representing Austria at U17, U18 and U19 level. He is a right-footed centre-back, standing 186cm tall, and wears the number 3 shirt for the club he has known since childhood.
His path to the first team ran through Admira's amateur side. Savic made his debut for Admira Wacker II in the Landesliga in May 2025, and within months had signed his first professional contract with the senior squad. His breakthrough came on 8 May 2026, when he started and played the full ninety minutes against FC Liefering in the 2. Liga, a match Admira lost 0-3. By September 2026 he had made eight league appearances for the senior side and scored his first goal.
There is a smaller detail from his youth years worth noting: as part of Admira's U14 side, Savic helped the team finish as vice-champions of the F-AKNÖ Nachwuchs Landesliga U14 OPO in the 2021/22 season.
