Siemen Voet

Siemen Voet came through Club Brugge's academy after starting out at SK Lochristi and K.S.C. Lokeren, joining Club NXT in 2009. Loans to Roeselare and KV Mechelen followed before spells at PEC Zwolle and, from 2022, ŠK Slovan Bratislava, where he won the Niké Liga title in three straight seasons. His playing time there was uneven: ten league appearances in the first title-winning campaign, just one before a loan to Fortuna Sittard, then sixteen once he returned to the Slovak capital.

The clearest personal footnote in Voet's career came away from Bratislava. On 12 October 2019, playing for Roeselare, he scored the opening goal in a 3–1 win over Oud-Heverlee Leuven, doing so shortly after his then-girlfriend, gymnast Nina Derwael, had won gold at the World Championships.

A left-footed centre-back, Voet has represented Belgium at youth level, with a single cap for the under-17s in 2017 and one appearance for the under-21s in 2021, but he has not been capped by the senior side. After Slovan Bratislava he moved on a free transfer to TSV 1860 Munich, and following the club's relegation he joined 1. FC Saarbrücken, also on a free transfer.
