About the player
Simeon Shishkov came through the Ludogorets Razgrad academy after leaving Haskovo 1957 in 2018. He worked his way up through the reserve sides, appearing for Ludogorets III before moving on to Ludogorets II, where he has made more than 80 appearances. The left-footed defender was promoted to the first team in September 2024 and signed his first professional contract, tying him to the club until 2028.
Shishkov made his debut for Ludogorets Razgrad's senior side on 26 May 2025, in a Bulgarian First League match against Arda. It was a single appearance in a season that ended with the title, as Ludogorets were crowned champions of the 2024–25 Bulgarian First League.
At international level, Shishkov represented Bulgaria at under-17 level between 2022 and 2023, scoring three goals in seven caps, including strikes in UEFA U17 European Championship qualifiers against Cyprus and Turkey.
