He also collected four caps for the Republic of Ireland Under-21 side in 2019, including a spell at that year's Toulon Tournament, without ever progressing to the senior international set-up.

A free transfer to Harrogate Town in January 2021 finally gave him a run of first-team football, and he scored two goals in 39 league appearances there before returning home to Ireland the following year. At Shamrock Rovers he won back-to-back League of Ireland Premier Division titles in 2022 and 2023, though his appearances were limited to eight league games across those campaigns.

He moved on to Sligo Rovers in December 2023 and scored four goals in 19 league outings in 2024, the highlight a brace against his former club Shamrock Rovers in a 2–0 win that June. St Patrick's Athletic signed him on a free transfer in November 2024, and his opening goal for the club came on his debut, in the Leinster Senior Cup, in January 2025. He struck again against Shamrock Rovers in October 2025, this time the winner. Power's path began far from any of these clubs, at Greystones United and St Joseph's Boys, before senior football started at Cabinteely in 2015 and continued at UCD, where he scored once in 13 league games.
