Stuart Hawkins

Stuart Hawkins joined the Sounders academy at twelve, growing up just down the coast in Fox Island, Washington, and stayed inside the club's pathway for the best part of a decade. At sixteen he signed his first professional contract under the Homegrown Player rule, a deal that runs through 2026 with club options attached for two further years.

Hawkins made his MLS debut against LAFC in May 2025, and by the end of that season had made six appearances for the senior side in all — four in MLS, two in the US Open Cup — without a goal or an assist to his name.

His clearest returns have come at youth international level. Hawkins started three matches for the United States at the 2023 Under-17 World Cup in Indonesia, and was also part of the American squads at the CONCACAF Under-17 championship that year and the Under-20 championship in 2024. He was named MVP of the 2022 Generation Adidas Cup at Under-17 level, and was picked for the MLS NEXT All-Star Game in both 2022 and 2023.
