Yilin Yang

Yang Yilin's career has run mostly through other people's shirts and reserve teams. Born in Luoyang, he came up through Shandong Taishan's youth ranks before the club sent him to Spain in 2018 to train with Estudiantes de Murcia, then playing in the Tercera División. He made 26 appearances there and scored once.

Registered with the first team until 2022, he never made a single senior league appearance for the club, spending most of that period with Shandong Taishan II in China League Two instead. A loan to Meizhou Hakka in February 2020 gave him five appearances in China League One, and he made the move permanent in April 2022.

Yang made 25 league appearances and scored three goals for Meizhou Hakka in the Chinese Super League in 2022, though his appearances dropped to ten the following season. In February 2024 he joined Henan FC, also known as Henan Songshan Longmen, on a free transfer, reaching 48 league appearances and one goal by the end of 2025.

Internationally, Yang represented China at youth level, with one cap for the U17 side in 2016 and six for the U19s in 2018, including a spell at that year's Panda Cup. He has not been called up to the senior national team.
