Yves Eric Bile

Yves Eric Bile started out at MŠK Žilina Africa, a feeder academy in Accra built to funnel young talent to the Slovak club Žilina. Bile made his own jump in 2023, first into Žilina's reserve side, where five goals in fourteen appearances forced the issue, and then into the first team, where he added ten goals in 42 league outings.

That form pushed the price up, and in January 2025 Ludogorets Razgrad paid €700,000 for him, tying him to a three-year contract. The move itself did not happen quietly: weeks earlier, Bile and teammate James Ndjeungoue had refused to train, a stand that put pressure on Žilina to let them go.

In Bulgaria he settled quickly. Twenty-nine appearances and five goals followed in his first season, and Ludogorets closed it out by winning the league title — their 14th in a row — before beating CSKA Sofia 1-0 in the Bulgarian Cup final in May. Bile has since featured in the club's Champions League and Europa League campaigns.

He has yet to add a senior cap for Ivory Coast to that record, though his rise from a Ghana-based academy side to a Bulgarian champion in the space of little more than two years marks him out as one to watch.
