About the player
From Sūduva's youth ranks in Marijampolė he crossed into Italian football as a teenager, moving through ASD Pro Sesto's junior side and Calcio Padova's youth teams, with a spell at Union Clodiense and a loan to Serie D side US Breno along the way. After his release from Padova he returned to Lithuania, signing with FK Sūduva as a free agent in February 2022.
Sūduva have not lifted a trophy during his time there, their best league finish coming in 2025 when they placed fourth in the A Lyga, and their run in the Lithuanian Cup has stalled at the quarterfinal stage. Baltrūnas, a left-footed left-back, now wears the number 5 shirt for the club.
He made his senior debut in a friendly against Moldova in Chișinău on 26 March 2026, playing 46 minutes as his side won 2-0 to end a run of seventeen matches without a victory. Three days later he came on for a single minute against Georgia in Kaunas, a match Lithuania lost 2-0. He did not feature when Lithuania played Latvia and Estonia in June 2026, leaving him with two caps to his name so far.
