Aveley

The club began in 1927. Mill Field was sold for housing, and in 2017 The Millers moved to Parkside, built on a former gravel pit with a 3G artificial pitch laid to FIFA Quality Pro standard, holding 3,500 with 424 of those seated.

The line worth remembering from the club's history sits in 1989–90, when Aveley, then in the bottom division of the Isthmian League, won the League Cup outright, beating their opponents 3–0 in the final — the first side from that low a level to take the trophy. More recent success has run through Danny Scopes, who took the club up through consecutive promotions and into the National League South for the first time in 2022–23.

Two names carry the club's playing history: Ken Riley, whose 422 appearances stand as the record, and Jotty Wilks, who scored 214 goals. Matches against Hornchurch and Grays Athletic are treated as the sharpest fixtures on the calendar, grouped together as the Thurrock derby, with Billericay Town and Canvey Island.
