Deal Town

The club traces itself to Deal D.S. & S., formed in 1919, renamed Deal Town within a year or two.

The high point came at Wembley in the 1999–2000 season, when Deal Town beat Chippenham Town 1–0 to win the FA Vase. The earlier Kent League title, in 1953–54, and three Kent League Cups across 1957–58, 1981–82 and 1998–99; in the FA Cup, the club's furthest point remains the Third Qualifying Round, most recently reached in 2025–26.

Local rivalry is sharpest against Lydd Town, in a fixture known locally as the South East Coastal Derby, with Ramsgate and Whitstable Town supplying the other regular derbies along the Kent coast.

Steve King has managed the club through its recent rise, and in May 2025 was moved up to Director of Football while staying on as manager. Further back, George Ephgrave kept goal at Deal Town between 1952 and 1954 having already played for Southampton and Watford, and Danny Wallace passed through as a youth player before his career took him to Southampton and beyond.
