In the second tier of Macedonian football, Novaci sit seventh through the early stretch of the 2025/26 season: a village side near Bitola whose ground, Stadion Novaci, holds around 500 people.

The club's one season among the country's elite came in 2016/17. It finished eighth in the Prva Liga, but the format sent it into a play-off against Shkupi for the final spot. Novaci lost the tie 7-2 on aggregate and went straight back down.

The badge and kit carry blue and yellow, the pairing worn again in this season's home shirt. Under an earlier name, Jugotutun, tied to the local tobacco factory, the side played out 1992/93 in the Second League and finished 17th, dropping to the third tier. It has since been rebuilt as FK Novaci, sometimes listed as Novaci 2005, and settled into the rhythm of Second League football that defines it now.
