Serrano PB

Serrano-PB has one championship to its name, and it came in 1998, in the Campeonato Paraibano's second division. Its partner club, Socremo, had already climbed that same step once before, in 1992.

Founded on 20 September 1989 in Monteiro, in the interior of Paraíba, Serrano carried the town's colours through some lean years, none leaner than 2019, when it reached the Série D of the Campeonato Brasileiro and lost six of its games, scoring twice and conceding 28 — a campaign that stood as the worst in the competition's history and sent the club down from the top flight of the state championship. In 2024, Serrano struck an arrangement with Socremo, the older Monteiro institution founded in 1968, merging playing operations under the name Socremo Serrano while Serrano-PB kept its legal identity. The joint side reached the final of the Campeonato Paraibano's third division that year, beat Miramar on penalties, and finished runner-up in a result that still carried it back up to the second division for 2025.

The club goes by Lobo da Serra, the mountain wolf, and its mascot merges that wolf with Socremo's hawk into a single figure they call Gavilobo. One name outgrew Monteiro entirely: Hulk started out in Serrano's youth ranks at the age of 12. Against Perilima, the club from nearby Campina Grande, there is no trophy or name attached to the fixture, only the rivalry itself.

Home games are played in green and white at the Estádio Inácio José Feitosa, known locally as Feitosão, a 4,000-capacity ground in Monteiro where the club's news travels these days mostly through its own Instagram page rather than any official site.
