ABB Arena Nord

The ABB Arena Nord in the Rocklunda district of Västerås is a functional shape for a sports hall that has been in use since 1965. It was originally called Rocklundahallen, a name it kept until a comprehensive renovation of the wider sports complex took place between 2006 and 2009. The work was completed in September 2007, and the building reopened in October of that year under the sponsorship name ABB Arena Nord. The capacity is 4,902, though the club notes an effective limit of 4,171 for home supporters, a figure revised in 2021 to account for staff and assumed away attendance. The Nord arena is the smaller, older of the two, standing as the oldest ice rink in the city.
