AGF-Hallen
Aarhus, Denmark
The indoor arena sits inside the same complex, behind the brick wall and a few hundred metres from the track. It has no public name of its own beyond Stadionhallen or Atletion Stadionhal, though the club simply calls it AGF-Hallen.
The hall is where the handball team plays its home matches, and the club’s own site lists it as the venue, though the capacity is not stated in any of the records. The building has a single line of windows along its lower level and several above, painted green, and the brickwork is uniform and tired. There is no separate entrance for the arena visible from the street, and the complex is shared with the outdoor pitch and the main football stadium, all under the same address on Stadion Allé.
The track around the football pitch has no grandstands, only a low metal railing along the grassy rise. In one direction it leads toward a small white building near the goal, in the other it curves away into the trees. The sky is often grey over the track, and the grass is cut short. The handball arena is not open to the public without a ticket, and there is no signage directing visitors to it from the road. The complex is part of the wider Ceres Park & Arena area, though the indoor hall does not carry that name.
