The pitch sits tucked away on Ulitsa Alymkula Usenbaeva, far from the city centre, yet it carries a weight that belies its size. Built in 1954 as the Trudovye Rezervy complex, the ground has lived through decades of shifting identities before settling into its current form as Alga Arena. The renovation, completed in 2025, rebuilt it into a facility that meets modern standards.

What defines the place is its atmosphere, not its capacity. The 3,000 seats offer an intimacy that larger venues cannot match, and the artificial surface ensures a consistent bounce regardless of the weather. The presence of a running track around the perimeter marks the ground as a multi-purpose venue, a detail that reflects its origins in the sports reserve system.

FC Alga Bishkek call this their home, having moved from the grander Dolon Omurzakov Stadium. The inauguration by the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, brought the spotlight on the project.

The technical specifications are precise: a pitch measuring 107 by 70 metres, devoid of undersoil heating, relying on the durability of the synthetic turf.
