The stadium sits at the junction of two avenues. Hindú Club bought the land in 1938, and the ground has stood there since, built on the site of the old golf club rather than the rugby pitch.

The pitch is natural grass. It is not the same surface as the hockey field, which sits elsewhere on the same 83-hectare plot, but the rugby teams play on grass. The capacity is 5,000, though no one keeps a record of the biggest crowd that has ever sat in those seats.

The club was founded in the capital, but the move to Tigre Partido happened a long time ago. The rugby section competes in the URBA union, and the ground is their home.

There are no former names to look up. The building has not been renovated in any grand way. Hindú Club are weighing up a move for the future, but for now, the ground is here.
