The ground at 165 Qaçaq Nəbi Street stands where the old Gənclik Stadium once rose, a facility built in 1957 that fell into disrepair for over two decades after being abandoned in 1997. The current Baku Sportinq Arena is the result of a renovation project that began in 2022, funded by the club and its sponsor, EL Holding, with support from the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
The capacity sits between 600 and 1,000, a scale appropriate for the second tier of Azerbaijani football. The facility includes two auxiliary training fields and an 80x40-meter synthetic pitch, alongside modern changing rooms and a medical suite.
The arena reopened on September 19, 2024, with a fixture in the Azerbaijan First League. Baku Sportinq FK took the field against MOIK Baku and secured a win. The club’s primary tenant status is clear, though the ground retains a history of other names, including the Buzovna settlement stadium. Floodlighting was already present on the site prior to the extensive rebuild.
