Beşirli Spor Salonu

The hall sits in the 2 Nolu Beşirli neighbourhood. It was not built for sport until later. The Ministry of Youth and Sports took the old central court of the Beşirli Tennis Complex. The conversion cost about 11 million Turkish lira, which was less than half of what a fresh build would have cost. Sport in Trabzon had nowhere else to play. The main court stretches 42 by 27 metres. Trabzon BB brought their handball here, and Trabzonspor brought their volleyball. The parquet is tough enough for professional handball. The seating rises on all sides, holding 3,500 people. Matches fill the calendar. There are national championships in boxing, karate, wrestling and volleyball. A U23 freestyle wrestling Turkish Championship took place in January 2026. A Trabzonspor Legends Football Tournament ran in October 2023. The hall is not named after a sponsor.
