BI-Centeret

The ground at Gl. Agdrupvej 17-23 sits quietly in Brønderslev, a town in the Region Nordjylland. What makes **BI-Centeret** stand out is not its architecture—but its function. It is a multi-purpose facility, opened in 1976, where football shares space with handball and table tennis. The football team, Brønderslev Idrætsforening, founded in 1897, plays its home matches here on an artificial pitch.

BI-Centeret has hosted regular local tournaments, including the Spar Nord Cup, and serves as a community hub for more than just sport. It accommodates general meetings, senior activities, and even film screenings, reflecting its role as a civic centre rather than a purely sporting venue.

The ground opened in May 1976, with construction beginning the previous October. It remains unchanged from the day it was inaugurated, serving a population that does not demand grandeur.
