In February 2025 the ground stopped taking crowds. Bolu Atatürk Stadyumu was shut to spectators after the match of 16 February between Geosis Boluspor and Amed Sportif Faaliyetler.

In September 2025 it partially reopened, with only the stand behind the goal cleared for use.

It has never staged a national cup final or a large concert, and no attendance record is kept for it. The pitch is natural grass, in the İhsaniye district of Bolu, a municipal ground that has stayed a municipal ground.
