Broager Sparekassen Skansen

Not a football ground, but a hall where the game is played on wood rather than turf. Sydjysk Sparekasse Skansen sits at Aabenraavej 25, a venue that opened in 2012 as a joint project between the local municipality and private enterprises. The name 'Skansen' (The Redoubt) was chosen to reflect the historical significance of the Dybbøl area, known for battles in 1864, symbolizing 'holding the fort.' The arena has a capacity of 2,200. It serves as the home ground for SønderjyskE Håndbold, the handball section of the SønderjyskE sports club, which plays in the Danish Handball League. Note that SønderjyskE Fodbold (the football club) plays at Sydbank Park in Haderslev, not at this venue.

The highest recorded attendance was 2,102 for a match between SønderjyskE and KIF Kolding on October 4, 2012. The venue also hosts other events such as the International Tattoo Show (2023), LAN parties, and Krolf championships, but no major international handball finals or concerts were found.
