Budaörs Városi Uszoda Sportcsarnok és Strand is a complex defined by its dual nature, standing as both a swimming facility and a sports hall rather than a dedicated arena. The building sits on Hársfa utca 6, a location that anchors it firmly within the town of Budaörs, where the local community gathers for both leisure and competition. The structure opened in the spring of 2010.

What distinguishes the ground from a standard swimming hall is the sports hall tucked within its walls. The floor is natural wood, a surface that demands precision in handball, a sport that has found a home here. The capacity reaches 1,000. On February 1, 2025, the hall held 950 spectators for a women's handball match between Moyra-Budaörs Handball and FTC-Rail Cargo Hungaria. A similar turnout occurred in September 2018 for a fixture against Alba Fehérvár KC.

The venue serves as the base for the men's handball team Budai Farkasok KKUK, who play in the Nemzeti Bajnokság I. The women's side, Moyra-Budaörs Handball, also competes at the top level. The facility has hosted international events, including the 2026/27 ETTU Champions League Women for table tennis, scheduled for late August 2026.

The complex includes a 25-meter indoor pool and a 33-meter outdoor pool, but the sports hall is where the attention turns. It is managed by a non-profit company established by the city. The name changed from Budaörsi Városi Uszoda és Sportcsarnok to the current title as the outdoor beach area was added, marking the expansion from a simple pool to a leisure destination.
