Campo 2 (Lezama Facilities)

The grounds at Lezama are defined by their scale, but Campo 2 is the one place where the club's history meets the present. The most striking feature is the white arch that rises above the stands. This is the only survivor of the old San Mamés stadium, which was demolished in 2013. The structure was moved here and reinstalled in 2015, standing as a monument over the pitch rather than housing a crowd itself.

The ground has changed little since it opened in 1971, but it was transformed in October 2018. A renovation added a third stand with an elevator and a new scoreboard, increasing the capacity to 3,250. The clean-sheet run came to an end here in the autumn of that year, when Athletic Bilbao defeated Venezuela U-20 3-0 in an international friendly. That match marked the practical completion of the new stand. The site sits in a landscape of green fields and vineyards, a quiet contrast to the intensity of the matches played on the natural grass.

The attendance record belongs to the 2021–22 season, when 1,415 spectators watched a Segunda División match between SD Amorebieta and Real Oviedo. The high line was picked apart that afternoon, but the figure stands as a testament to the interest in the reserve teams. The venue is also home to Athletic Club Femenino, and on May 22, 2025, it hosted a formal tribute for Mikel de Marcos. The ground is situated at Bo. Garaioltza, 147C, and while it lacks the roar of the main stadium, it retains the character of a place where players are made.
