Catena Arena
Ängelholm, Sweden
Formerly: Lindab Arena
For local hockey fans, the ground has a different character now. The name on the building changed a few years ago, moving from Lindab Arena to what it is today, Catena Arena, after a new sponsorship deal was struck. That shift coincided with a significant renovation that added a whole new level above the seating area, known locally as Loftet. The capacity swelled with that extension, pushing the numbers well beyond what the old five thousand mark used to be, though the club had been planning that move for a while.
Rögle BK have played here since the building replaced the old ice hall in 2008. The club has used the space for more than just their senior team; the youth sides play on the same surface, and the national teams have used the training facilities for pre-camps. It is a community hub as much as a sports venue.
The biggest highlight for the club came in the middle of the last decade.
