The Colonel-Knight-Stadion is located at Nördlicher Park 25. It was built in 100 days , a sprint from October 1945 to January 1946, when prisoners and workers laboured through the night to meet a deadline set by Colonel Paul Rutherford Knight.

The name has shifted with the decades. The locals called it the 100-Day Stadium before it became the Artificial Ice Rink, and finally the Colonel-Knight-Stadion in 1999. It is the only arena of this size in Hesse , drawing crowds for the EC Bad Nauheim and the figure skaters who train there.

The old hanging roof caused trouble, leading to a major renovation between 2010 and 2011 that cost millions. It reopened on November 19, 2011 , with a show called Bad Nauheim on Ice.
