CSC Nika
Oleksandriya, Ukraine
Formerly: Shakhtar Stadium
Nika stands where the old Shakhtar Stadium once did. The ground opened in 1998, after the original site was cleared and rebuilt. Before that, the pitch belonged to Shakhtar Oleksandria, a club that no longer exists. The new name comes from the cultural and sports complex that oversees the venue.
The entrance gives the place away. The stadium was renovated between 2017 and 2020 to meet UEFA standards.
The playing surface is natural grass, kept in condition by an automatic irrigation and heating system. The stands hold 7,000 people, with 70% of the seats under a roof. The club briefly played at the Olimp Stadium between 1991 and 1992 before returning to Nika. In 1999, the ground hosted a Ukrainian Cup semi-final between Zirka Kirovohrad and Dynamo Kyiv.
The location is 58-b Shevchenko Street, in the city of Oleksandriya. The stadium sits in Shevchenko Park.
