The ground is defined by its long association with Rushall Olympic F.C., a club that returned to its local roots after a spell at Aston University.

The pitch is artificial, a 3G synthetic surface laid down in 2019. The local council allowed them to add 252 seats and an extra turnstile to meet the requirements, but the crowd figures tell a different story. Sources disagree on the true capacity; while some list 2,641, the practical limit seems closer to 1,400 now that the club has dropped back down the leagues.

The largest crowd to ever watch a game was 2,400 in 1977 for a match against Leeds United. More recently, the ground hosted a record 1,311 supporters for an FA Cup first-round tie against Accrington Stanley in November 2024. It was the club’s first time reaching that stage of the competition. Since the 2019–2020 season, the ground has also been shared with Walsall Ladies F.C. for their first-team league fixtures.
