The **Dalian Football Youth Training Base Stadium** sits in the middle of a vast sports complex rather than a traditional city centre. The larger base stretches for acres, housing twenty-three training pitches and dormitories, making the main arena just one part of a much wider operation.
There is a slight confusion over the official name; the complex is often labelled the Dalian Football Youth Training Center, while the specific pitch is the main stadium. It opened in December 2019. The surface is not natural soil, but artificial turf, one of ten high-tech pitches installed for the facility.
The capacity is the matter of debate. Some records say 5,000 seats, others whisper 10,000, and some databases offer nothing at all.
The stadium has hosted matches for the 2025 FISU University World Cup. It also served as a neutral venue during the 2021 China League One season, when teams like Kunshan F.C. had to play away from their home towns.
