Dostuk Arena
Besh-Kungoy, Kyrgyzstan
It stands as a distinct anomaly in Kyrgyz football: the first stadium constructed from scratch in the country’s post-independence history. Opened in April 2025 , the ground sits in the village of Besh-Kungoy, just outside Bishkek, yet it carries the weight of national attention. The venue was named Dostuk Arena , a title proposed to symbolise friendship and unity, though its physical presence is defined by its modern completeness.
Unlike many pitches that exist as scattered facilities, this complex is a cohesive unit. It covers 2.26 hectares and includes not only the main field with natural grass but also artificial turf areas, a player dormitory, and a media centre. The construction began in March 2024 under the personal oversight of President Sadyr Japarov, who returned to cut the ribbon on April 26. The capacity is set at 2,563 seats, a precise figure confirmed by multiple reports despite some rounding in early coverage. It is the home of FC Talant, who played their first competitive match there against Alga Bishkek; the visitors won 2–1.
The facility is equipped with LED lighting and a VAR system, amenities that place it ahead of many regional counterparts. There are VIP rooms and an administrative block. The pitch is natural grass, maintained to a standard suitable for the Kyrgyz Premier League.
The village location keeps it away from the capital’s noise, yet the visit of the president highlights its significance.
