Estadio José Dellagiovanna

Ask a supporter from Tigre what makes Victoria different from any other ground in the greater Buenos Aires belt, and the answer usually comes back the same: the club renamed its own stadium after the man who built it. From 1936 until 2009 the ground carried the club's name outright — Estadio del Club Atlético Tigre — while locals just called it the Monumental de Victoria or the Coliseo de Victoria. A members' vote in 2009 settled it, with 61 per cent backing the name of José Dellagiovanna, the club's first president and one of its early players.

The place started as timber. It took a rebuild under president Mario Piotti in the mid-1950s to turn it into something closer to what stands now, with a new stand along Avenida Presidente Perón and a covered platea; the concrete work opened for a match against Racing Club on 15 April 1956. Work kept coming in pieces rather than one grand reconstruction — a lower stand and new floodlight towers for the club's 80th anniversary in the early 1980s, the side stand finished in concrete in 2001, and in 2006 a three-month sprint to pour a concrete away end in time for the ground's 70th year, with the old wooden visitors' stand sold off to a rugby club. Press facilities, dressing rooms and an anti-doping lab followed in 2007, then armoured glass in the directors' box and magnetic turnstiles on the Perón side by 2012.

Silverware finals have largely passed Victoria by, but the ground has had its nights — a 2019 Copa de la Superliga semi-final in which Tigre put five past Atlético Tucumán stands out. Estadio José Dellagiovanna remains a home ground rather than a showpiece venue, holding just over 26,000 on natural grass.
