Estadio Parque del Guairá
Villarrica, Paraguay
The ground on Ruta 8 Dr. Blas Garay belongs not to a club but to the government of the Guairá department, which lets Guaireña Fútbol Club use it as a home.
What opened in 1983 was a modest pitch with room for five or six thousand. The first serious expansion came in 2012–13, at a cost of 4,360 million guaraníes, and lifted capacity past ten thousand. The next phase began in 2020 and was finished only in February 2023: a second bank of seating with two premium sectors, better lighting, rebuilt dressing rooms — around a million US dollars in all. The ground now holds 12,000. Through all of it the name never changed; no sponsor's title was attached.
The surface is natural grass and it does not take rain well. The Copa Paraguay final was awarded here for 2 December 2023 with the state of the pitch questioned beforehand. Sportivo Trinidense and Libertad finished 1–1 through extra time, and Libertad won on penalties.
Guaireña's own crowds are smaller. The attendance record dates from 29 May 2023, a 2–2 draw with Club Guaraní watched by 6,297 — well short of a sell-out crowd in a stadium rebuilt for twice that.
