Fotbalový areál TJ Sokol Křimice

The ground sits pressed against the Sokol clubhouse in Křimice. Before that, from 1953, the works team played on a field under the railway line — pod tratí.

Sokol Křimice as an organisation goes back to 1912. Football split off on its own in 2019, when FC Křimice broke away from the wider Sokol body to run as an independent club, though it never left the ground behind — the pitch by the clubhouse is still where it plays, now in Divize A, the fourth tier.

There is no floodlighting and no running track, which keeps the place looking much as it must have in the 1970s: a natural grass pitch, a clubhouse, room for 1,500 if the whole village turned out. It rarely does — in 2010/11, paid attendance across the entire home season came to 1,424, fewer than the ground holds for a single match.
