Gemeentelijk Sportpark Numansdorp

Numansdorp is a small town, and its football ground reflects that scale. It is a modest affair, but one that has seen the club through decades.

The surface is hybrid, a mix of natural grass and artificial turf. In 2016, the club began planning the conversion. By 2017, EPDM granules were laid. A second phase followed in 2021 with coated SBR granules. The change was made to keep the ground playable for a growing membership of around 1,100 players.

NSVV has called this place home since 1946. The exact date the park opened remains a blank in the archives. What is recorded is the club’s journey. They reached the quarter-finals of the KNVB Districtsbeker in the 2025/26 season. Before that, they had mixed fortunes in the KNVB Beker. They lost to RKC Waalwijk and FC Twente in the 1980s. A friendly against SL Benfica in 1989 stands out in local memory, a rare visit by a European giant to a Dutch village.

The site is exclusive to NSVV. There are no other clubs sharing the space. The website points to vvnsvv.nl. The club plays in the Eerste Klasse, fighting for promotion in the Zuid-I district. The ground does not host matches for anyone else. It is simply a place where football is played, week after week.
