Glanford Park (The Attis Arena)

The club had left the Old Show Ground behind, and Princess Alexandra performed the opening. Kevin Keegan turned out in the friendly against a Football League side that day. Among the mascots were Kevin and Joanne Clifton, then five and four years old, long before Strictly Come Dancing. The following month Margaret Thatcher arrived by helicopter, met the board, and called the place "really excellent".

The name came from Glanford Borough Council, which funded the build. It has since carried two commercial names — Sands Venue Stadium from 2019, then The Attis Arena from January 2024 — but Glanford Park is what people still say.

The ground has shrunk rather than grown. It opened holding 11,190, with terracing behind both goals. Seats went into the AMS Stand in 1991 and capacity dropped to 9,088; the last standing area, in the Britcon Stand at the Doncaster Road End, was seated in 2019, a change the club had tried to resist.

Peter Swann's board planned a rebuild for 2018–19: all four stands replaced, the corners filled, capacity up to 11,137, at an estimated £14m to £18m. Litigation over ownership of the ground, money trouble and the pandemic ended it. What exists instead is the 1988 stadium with a bar and food outlets added to the Clugston Stand in 2006 and the Legends Lounge tucked into the south-west corner in 2011.

The record crowd is recent — 9,086 for the National League North play-off against Chester on 18 May 2025.
