Nantong Haimen Codion F.C. finally has a home. The Haimen Sports Center Stadium opened in March 2023 to end their years travelling. The club spent the previous campaign in closed environments or on neutral soil.
The ground sits on Shanghai Road in Haimen District. The structure was built by Jiangsu Zhongnan Construction Industry Group Co., Ltd., a firm that has worked on similar civic projects in the region. The club handed a debut to the venue with their first official home fixture, which coincided with the local district games.
The capacity is listed at around 10,000 seats.
Management of the site rests with the Haimen District Education and Sports Bureau.
There are no former names to explain. The stadium is new, and it carries the weight of a fresh start. The ground simply sits there, waiting for the next season to begin.
