Hatstore Arena

Hatstore Arena sits on Lorensbergsgatan in Kalmar, a compact indoor ice hockey venue that opened in October 2021. It replaced the old Iffehallen, which had served the city since 1981 before being demolished in April 2020. The building was designed by the architecture firm Tengbom, and the site has carried the sponsored name Hatstore Arena since the day it opened.

Inside, the playing surface is ice. The capacity for hockey games is 2,650 spectators. For concerts and cultural events, the space can hold up to 3,500 people. The overall attendance record is 3,500, set during a concert by musician Thomas Stenström on February 7, 2026. The ice hockey attendance record is 2,650, set on September 20, 2024, during the HockeyAllsvenskan season opener between Kalmar HC and Tingsryds AIF.
