Haugesund Sparebank Arena

The biggest crowd this ground has held belongs to a version of it that no longer exists. The seated arena that stands there now holds 8,703.

The town built it. Haugesund's municipality carried the construction, with no architect recorded, and the clubs each put up 700 kroner towards changing rooms before it opened on 17 May 1920 as Haugesund kommunale idrettsplass . Everything after that came in instalments: a first stand of 500 seats in 1926; in 1936 a pitch cut to international dimensions, a concrete stand for 700 and proper dressing rooms; in 1945 a council grant of 75,000 kroner for turf, which was not played on until August 1948, alongside 120,000 kroner for a training pitch at Flotmyr; another 500 seats in 1949.

The rebuild that followed in 2013 and 2014 pushed capacity to its present figure, and the modern record was set almost immediately: 8,945 for FK Haugesund's 2–3 defeat by SK Brann in the closing round of the 2014 Tippeligaen. The ground had been Haugesund Stadion since 1968; a sponsorship deal changed the name again in May 2021.
