Hidegkuti Nándor Stadion

Football has been played on the plot at Brüll Alfréd utca since 31 March 1912, when the ground opened as the Hungária körúti stadion. The name moved with the times — MTK Stadion for much of the century, then, from 2002, Hidegkuti Nándor Stadion, after the MTK and Hungary forward. What stands there now is not the ground that carried those names: the 1947 stadium came down across 2014 and 2015, and its successor went up on the same footprint between 2015 and 2016, which is why it is also called the Új Hidegkuti Nándor Stadion — the new one.

The rebuild was drawn by BORD Építész Stúdió, with Péter Bordás as lead architect and Kata Zih coordinating. The pitch is a hybrid system supplied by KE KELIT: some 20 million plastic fibres stitched through natural grass.

It opened on 13 October 2016 with a friendly against Sporting Clube de Portugal, played in front of 4,800. Ronaldo Tavares put Sporting ahead on 23 minutes, Kanta levelled from the spot before the break, Matheus Pereira restored the lead from another penalty on 51, and Poór made it 2–2 on 76. Andó-Szabó refereed. Prime Minister Viktor Orbán attended the ceremony.
