What stood on Fáy utca before it went up in 1961, under a different name, and it took a rename in 2002 to attach Rudolf Illovszky's name to the ground he'd once played on for Vasas. By 2016 that older structure had come down entirely, cleared to make way for what stands there now.

The rebuild reopened on 5 July 2019, and Vasas marked the occasion with a friendly against DAC 1904 Dunajská Streda, won 2:0 with both goals from Botond Birtalan.

Fáy utca 58 remains the address, unchanged through the rebuild, even as everything behind that number was replaced.
