Kâzım Karabekir Stadyumu

The ground sits on a square named after it, in the Yakutiye district of Erzurum, and its recent history is best read backwards from the earthquake of 6 February 2023. The tremors left damage the inspectors would not sign off on, and the stadium was declared unfit and shut; Erzurumspor FK played their home fixtures elsewhere. It has since reopened only in part — with the marathon and covered stands still closed, the ground admits 2,787 spectators.

That rebuilding was itself the arena's defining episode. Work began in the summer of 2009 and ran to January 2011, timed to the Winter Universiade, with Бахадыр Кул and Альпер Аксой on the design and Akgün İnşaat reworking the press facilities. The ground carried the ceremonies at both ends of those Games. Its name changed along the same timeline: Джемаль Гюрсель Стады until 2011, then Ени Эрзурум Стадьюму through the works, and Кязым Карабекир Стадьюму from 2012.

The one occasion that brought the whole country's attention came on 12 August 2012, when the Суперкубок Турции was played here and Галатасарай beat Фенербахче 3–2.

Hybrid turf was laid and seeded through the summer of 2025. The stadium belongs to the Ministry of Youth and Sports, which runs it through its investment and operations directorate and, locally, the provincial youth and sports office in Erzurum.
