Kingsey Road
Thame, United Kingdom
Formerly: Church Farm
The ASM Stadium sits at the centre of Meadow View Park, a complex of sports facilities in Thame, Oxfordshire, United Kingdom. It replaced the club's previous ground at Windmill Road, which the team lost in 2005, and construction on the new site began in March 2010. The venue was built by a local partnership with a capacity of 2,500, consisting of a covered stand and flat standing areas. The playing surface is natural grass, which has been in place since the facility opened its doors for matches in 2011.
What distinguishes the ground is the occasion that drew an unexpected crowd to this Oxfordshire village. On December 26, 2013, the table goes out of the window in these games when Oxford United played there while their own stadium was unavailable. The main tenant, Thame United FC, moved into the ground in January 2011.
The structure is not a landmark of steel and glass but a straightforward community ground. It has remained largely unchanged since its opening, with no major structural renovations or capacity adjustments recorded in the years since.
