Kiryat Shmona Municipal Stadium
Kiryat Shmona, Israel
Since October 2023, when the fighting on the northern border reached Kiryat Shmona and the town was evacuated, Hapoel Ironi have played their home fixtures at the Мирес stadium in Нетания — through 2023/24, 2024/25 and into the start of 2025/26. Debris from intercepted rockets came down on the pitch and the surrounding infrastructure.
Before that, the place had been rebuilt once already. It opened as a single-stand ground holding about 2,300, and stayed that way until the club climbed into Лигат ха-Аль in 2006. The work that followed ran to 2008: a new east stand for roughly 3,000, taking the capacity to 5,300; the old west stand kept but stripped of its concrete benches in favour of plastic seats; floodlights, broadcast rooms, a relaid pitch and car parks laid out along the northern side.
The rebuild is what made the 2012/13 season possible here. Kiryat Shmona reached the group stage of the UEFA Europa League, and a town of this size hosted Олимпик Лион, Атлетик Бильбао and Спарта Прага on a 5,300-seat ground. That same season the club reached its first Кубок Израиля final, played at home on 22 May 2013 against Хапоэль Рамат-Ган. It finished 1–1, and Рамат-Ган took the shoot-out 4–3.
The entrance is on Ха-Ярден street, at the southern edge of the Хула valley.
