Kristianstads Fotbollsarena

Kristianstad built this one from scratch. The ground on Ringvägen replaced Kristianstads IP, the town's old pitch, and it opened on 12 April 2018 on a different site altogether.

The pitch is a hybrid surface, natural grass stitched through with synthetic fibre. And they are shared — Kristianstad Predators, the town's American football side, use the arena as well, which means the surface takes a load few grounds of this size carry.

Capacity is 2,500, and it has not moved since the gates first opened. The split is roughly 1,200 seated against 1,300 standing, which is the detail worth noting: more than half the ground is terracing. That ratio is a deliberate piece of design at a time when new-build arenas across Europe were seating everyone, and it gives the place a shape closer to an older ground than its opening date implies.

Fixture information and access details are carried by the tenant clubs instead, which is ordinary enough for a ground of this scale — the building is run as a municipal facility rather than as a club's own address.
