Krogsbølle Stadion

The ground sits in Otterup on the island of Funen (Fyn) .

What distinguishes this place is its setting.

The club itself carries a long history. Krogsbølle G&IF marked its centenary in 2019, and the local football community has operated as a unit since the senior cooperation began in 1997. The formal structure that bears the current name arrived in 2020. They have played in the Danish Cup (DBU Pokalen) , and the results there have varied; a visit from Esbjerg fB in August 2023 was one such fixture.

There is no running track to slow the game down, and no lights to extend play into the evening. The surface is natural grass (Naturrasen) , which means the pitch is subject to the Danish weather in a way that artificial surfaces are not. On wet days the ball can be heavy, and the players have to adjust their passing accordingly.

Krogsbølle Stadion does not pretend to be anything other than what it is: a functional field for a community club. It has hosted the occasional cup tie and lost others, but it has always done so with the same simplicity.
