Skalica's ground carries the nickname Letňák and it plays exactly to type: a modest municipal pitch built for a club that spent most of its history outside the top flight rather than a showcase arena. The natural grass and the running track around it point to a stadium that was never meant purely for football, and it still doubles as an athletics venue in the town.

What sets it apart in Slovak football is the date 17 July 2022 . That afternoon, against MFK Ružomberok, Skalica played its first-ever match in the Niké Liga at this ground, drawing 2,026 spectators — close to capacity — and losing 0:2.

That gap between ambition and infrastructure has not stopped the club from testing itself further afield: Skalica took part in UEFA Conference League qualifying in the 2025/26 season.

There is no sponsor name attached to the ground and no history of renaming — it has always been known simply as the municipal stadium in Skalica, owned by the town itself rather than by any commercial entity.
