Mestský štadión Komárno / ViOn Aréna

Football has been played on this patch of Komárno since 1900, though not on this pitch and not in this shape. The club's first ground lay in the Ráczkert district; the stadium was reworked again in 1985 before it was pulled down.

What stands there now is barely older than the season. Between 2023 and 2026 the old ground was demolished and a new complex was built on the same site, at Športová 1, the land and the building both belonging to the town of Komárno. KFC Komárno put itself forward as the investor, with backing from a Hungarian state fund. The design is by Oliver Csémy and Kristián Csémy; the construction was handled by a consortium of Delaty 9 Project and FEJÉR-B.Á.L. Építő és Szolgáltató Zrt.

The reason the club spent those two seasons away is worth stating plainly: UEFA requirements left no ground in the town that could host its league fixtures, so from 2024 to 2026 KFC played its home matches at the ViOn Aréna in Zlaté Moravce, more than an hour's drive up the road. That arrangement ended in August 2026.

Capacity is 5,250 on a natural grass pitch — a number that has since been tested, with attendances at the new ground running past 5,000. For a club whose crowds in the early twentieth century were counted at over 3,000, the town has come back to roughly the same order of magnitude, in a building that shares nothing with the one it replaced except the address.
