The pitch stretches out as a single sheet of green. MTN Phillip Omondi Stadium sits on Naguru Link Road in the Lugogo district. It opened in 2015 as a replacement for the older ground, built by Sarjan Construction after the Capital City Authority commissioned the project.
The facility carries the weight of recent changes. It was the Phillip Omondi Stadium until 2017, then the StarTimes Stadium until MTN Uganda bought the naming rights in November 2020. The capacity sits at 10,000.
Since the 2015 opening, the ground has hosted the 2021 CECAFA U-23 Challenge Cup and youth qualifiers for the African Under-17 Championship. It also serves as the home for Kampala Capital City Authority Football Club. The surface is artificial turf, installed during the initial renovation phases that cost approximately UGX 16 billion.
The surrounding area includes vague references to Hesketh Bell Road in some address listings, but the main access remains the Naguru Link Road. The stadium does not have a dedicated web presence; the club operates through https://www.kccafc.co.ug/. Non-sporting events, such as the launch of MTN Uganda's campaign in 2022, have taken place here.
