Muğla Atatürk Stadyumu

The ground was laid out in 1938 on open land beyond the town, and Muğla has grown around it since. No architect or contractor is recorded for the original build, and the site has never been anything but a sports ground.

Its longest interruption came in 2007, when the stadium was closed after being judged unable to withstand an earthquake. The old stand was demolished and a replacement built over 2024 and 2025. The reopening was set for 2 November 2025, after an earlier target of 15 September that year passed without one.

Muğlaspor have used it as their home ground throughout, alongside friendlies and cup ties. Fenerbahçe came on 10 January 1999 and won 4–0. Bursaspor visited in the Turkish Cup on 24 September 2019. The second-division play-off against Şanlıurfaspor in May 2026 is remembered locally less for the match than for the state of the town's transport afterwards, with no organised plan for moving away supporters out.

The ground is run by the Menteşe municipality and the provincial directorate of youth and sport. The name has not changed in its working life, though Muğla Stadyumu does the job in conversation.
