The city owned it outright until March 2016, when the shares passed to a local company where the council still holds 95.8 per cent. The original hall has a capacity of about 1,000, though some sources list 1,100. A second hall for training was added in 2017.
Nokian Pyry, founded in 1905, play their home games here. The senior men gained promotion to the Mestis for the 2025–2026 season. The club has seen highs and lows in the ice; a match against Kiekkokopla in July 2016 was abandoned when the ice crumbled, handing Pyry a 7–0 win and a fine.
