The hall at Skolegade 16B does not shout. It sits quietly in Nørre Snede, a town where the weather often feels like it belongs to the next county over. It is not a cathedral of sport, but the only roof in town that keeps the rain from falling on the players.

The capacity sits at 250 seats. That is enough for a full community to turn up and cheer, but not enough for strangers to pass through unnoticed. This is where the players grow up. The academy graduates mark their first starts here, not in stadiums with floodlights.

In 2019, the building had work done. The renovation focused on the cafeteria and changing rooms. It was not a facelift for tourists, but an upgrade for the people who use it every evening. The hall hosts Hærvejens HK/Ejstrupholm GF, a club formed by a merger of two local sides. They play handball here, as do the badminton and gymnastics clubs. The surface is standard for indoor sport, fitted with international goals.

Recent matches have drawn attention beyond the immediate neighbourhood. A victory against Roskilde Håndbold in March 2024 showed what the local side could do when they played well. The players had nothing to lose and everything to prove. The wind outside may have ruined any passing game for the teams travelling in, but inside, the players held their own.
